Born in Agadir, Chaïma Chadi graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tétouan.

Through the use of lines, textures and a chromatic palette, she reveals a dual sensitivity as a designer and in the expression of her models. His characters, elevated to the rank of plastic fiction, allow him to collect a collection of diverse human expressions, thus forming an alphabet and a grammar.

It is through this work of formal abstraction and
conceptual that Chaïma deploys the conceptual tools of its graphic universe. Recently, his interest in typography mobilizes all of his skills to propose a new design and a hybrid visual formulation, inspired by the Latin and Arabic alphabets.

Chaïma’s approach consists of creating a new semiotic and typographic system: she translates the variety of human expressions that she lists from her practice of portraiture to transform them into linguistic abstraction.
His work highlights the need for ornament as a social construction of humanity, and offers a perception of the world that surrounds it, in its desire to offer a narrative. The graphic practice that she develops attempts to position the alphabet
as a motif and as an indicative set of distinctive cultural traits, which contributes to enriching linguistic mixing.
The artist's questions about texture and support come from his research into post-modern theory in
architecture. The latter denounces a return to the aesthetics of ornament that the artist questions in a formal and conceptual manner through a series of questions:
To what extent can typographic richness be used to create ornaments? Can she tell Moroccan cultural news? How linguistic hybridization contributes to a renewal of form in the service of expression
