Talal Ibn Khatib was born in 1993 in Meknes, Morocco. He lives and works between Rabat and Lviv. He graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan.

Through installations, drawings and photographs, Talal explores the forms through which we can meditate on the world in order to create a common consciousness. His works are undeniably humanist and engaged; they are the testimony of daily observations of flouting of the human condition. Talal criticizes the heavy and depersonalizing structures of a society on the individual. He denounces the social injustices that result from this, particularly with regard to education.
His pieces, often carrying ambivalent symbols, express the harshness of social injustices while reminding us of our fragilities, even our ephemerality.
