Biography
Multidisciplinary artist, but above all a cartoonist and cultural mediator, originally from Marrakech in Morocco.
"Laureate of the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tétouan (Morocco) in 2013, I also hold a master's degree specialized in museology and cultural mediation from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Rabat (Morocco) since 2018 .
My master's degree concluded with an internship in museology and cultural mediation at the International Comics Museum in Angoulême.
The problem of museum possibilities for raising, locally, comics to the rank of an autonomous art that can be the subject of conservation and institutional presentation and the ideal is at the heart of my concerns.
My artistic practice brings into play my place and my singularity as an artist within societies tending towards general standardization."
Artistic approach
Through my artistic creations, I am interested in questions related to subjects that intrigue my mind, and I always seek, through different mediums and artistic practices ahead of the aesthetic dimension, to weave a common thread between universal values, personal ones that convey existential norms. Through my creations, I seek the meaning of words and ambiguous themes such as freedom, the relationship between man and nature, or social, political, ideological and ecological subjects, etc. A set that becomes a work, because several years ago, I, in the space of three fractions of a second, decided to make my dream of becoming a comic strip artist a reality.
