Young self-taught Moroccan artist, Mohamed Amine Tajeddine aka Taj composes his pictorial works from a palette of images found on the internet.
His work questions the different temporal factors and the positive developments that they bring, particularly in terms of individual freedoms, but also the disastrous stigma that this passing time leaves on our increasingly degraded planet.
This dialectic and its contradictions enrich his works with an unresolved ambiguity.
Everything is enhanced by tangy color and sprinkled with glitter.
He exhibited his work in 2022 at the ArtSpace Casablanca gallery, through a solo exhibition entitled "Slay Africa", he also participated in a group exhibition - ArtSpace Casablanca x Mandarin Oriental - in December 2019

The visual artist TAJ expresses himself through a singular work which is characterized by a staging of his own person.
In his paintings, he presents himself to the spectators in a naked manner. It is a laying bare of his strength as well as his fragility, his fears and his desires, his favorites and his questions.
The artist explores in particular the question of masculinity and gender. He questions the place of man in society and the different ways of being a man.
His work consists of snapshots that are both conceptual and formal, impressionist and expressionist, fictional and real. Each element contributes to telling a story, in harmony with the other components to construct an image combining dream and reality.
The artist does not consider himself as an artist who makes collage, but rather as a visual artist who composes his paintings from a repertoire of images patiently collected and collected digitally.
This artistic approach is in line with conceptual art and engaged art. It testifies to the artist's desire to put himself on the line to share his thoughts and emotions with the spectators.
