Ziyad el Mansouri is a young painter, born in 1998 in Taza, Morocco, the city where he grew up for the first 14 years of his life.
However, the absence of a branch dedicated to applied arts in his hometown forced Ziyad and his parents to move to the Tetouan region in northern Morocco so that he could begin his artistic journey.
After completing his basic education in Fnideq, where his parents had taken up residence, Ziyad moved to Tetouan at the age of 16 to take the entrance exam at the Imam el Ghazali high school, where he was the applied arts sector. After obtaining his bachelor's degree in applied arts in 2015, he took the admission exam to the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan. In 2020, he obtained his diploma and established his workshop in Tetouan, a place where he tirelessly explores his artistic research and reflections.
This experience was for him a profound artistic exploration, tinged with experimentation and visual explorations, revealing new horizons that he wishes to pursue, both in the present and in the future. His aspiration leads him towards the continued development of his research, perhaps through a master's degree, or even a thesis.
