Laureate of Fine Arts in Casablanca, Abdelwakil ZOUHEIR is a visual artist, influenced by the nobility of animals. His works are distinguished by the particularity of bearing witness to the relationship between animals and man in its entirety.

During the confinement period in March 2020, Abdelwakil questioned himself and his work: what his art was really worth. He took the courage to rebuild himself and get rid of the stereotypes he had about art which lacked honesty.
A mastery of knowledge and know-how was essential in his quest. He thus gives more chance to spontaneity but without lacking precaution, he seeks to be transparent and honest with himself and his art.
From the constraint of production, to the freedom of creation, a vision was born. In his works, Abdelwakil reflects what surrounds him, what he has sent and what he is, through his practice and his approach "in order to open up new possibilities for reflection"
