Fugitives
2023
Fugitives looks at the quiet acts of escape in Safi, where the sea becomes the closest threshold to freedom. Drawn to the beaches, people momentarily step outside the weight of repetition—the endless rhythm of work, routine, and return. The shoreline turns into a stage where gestures of rest, play, and contemplation carry both fragility and resistance.
These photographs are less about leisure than about survival: small fugitive moments where bodies reclaim time, where the ordinary bends into something fleeting yet profound.
