llyass Baha, artiste visuel autodidacte, 27 ans, de Casablanca. Intéressé par la photographie humaniste et documentaire, il trouve dans l'homme et sa façon de vivre une matière riche à explorer. Il cherche dans le quotidien tout ce qui lui parait particulier et spécial dans le rapport à nous même et à l'autre. A travers sa photographie, il créer une histoire visuelle qui raconte sa relation avec son environnement. Son travail a fait partie de diverses expositions collectives et a été présenté au Festival Off des Rencontres d'Arles 2022, ainsi qu'aux Nuits de projection des Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech 2022. Il est le gagnant de la 1ère édition du concours DS Arts Talents dans la catégorie photographie et a été sélectionné finaliste pour le prix Mostaqubal 2023.

My artistic approach aims to broaden my understanding of the world by capturing both the visible and the invisible, through photography. I seek to go beyond the limits of what can be observed in order to explore the most subtle aspects of our reality, such as spirituality and our inner world, which shape our human experience.

By inviting spectators to meditate on these less tangible aspects, I enrich their curiosity, raise questions and open doors to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. I also strive to immortalize the material reality that surrounds us, by capturing the visible and tangible elements with precision. Photography allows me to explore this observable facet of the world, highlighting its beauty, complexity and diversity.
However, I recognize that our human experience is much greater than what can be perceived by our senses and recorded by the camera. This is why I strive to capture and explore the inner aspects and delve into their depth.
