Holy black

Holy black

2023

This work embodies the concept of loss, particularly the feeling of loss of self in the existential journey. This heavy feeling is represented as an overcoming of the limits of time and space leading to a black hole which symbolizes emptiness, isolation and perdition. In this context, we can interpret this black hole as the symbol of personal crises in the quest for identity, where contact with oneself can be lost, and where the feeling of being swallowed up by life predominates. This painting is an invitation to contemplate the nature of the individual and to reflect on his existence as a whole. What happens to us when we are no longer ourselves?
