Multidisciplinary visual artist born in Tetouan in 1992, graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Granada.
Generally, Malek is inspired by language, context and boundaries, using accumulation as a plastic design depending on each project, but generally he does not have a single language of expression or style, lately he focuses on drawing as a language of expression and reflection.
From 2014 to 2023, Malek exhibited in Tetouan, Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Rome, Tunisia, Cordoba, Malaga, Madrid and Bilbao:

Malek SORDO won the Mustaqbal Young Hope Prize in 2022!

Malek SORDO has always been interested in experimentation, which he first approached in a classical way before daring to go contemporary.
Lately, Malek has returned to drawing as a language and as an initiatory expression which has taken him on the path of Art (Failing, Maintaining Balance and Rumination
as examples), but he has also touched on other media and languages of expression when necessary, depending on each project; this diversity in its production can evoke the variety of its cultural “consumption” (from Football to Gilles Deleuse).
Experimentation, risk, balance, discourse and language are notions that inspired Malek. However, the next period will be characterized by drawing.
